Baby Closet

The Baby Closet at St Mark’s is intended to assist families in crisis by providing essential items for infants and young children.  Any individual or family who is in need of emergency assistance for their child can access the closet.  There are no fees.

Prescott Scholarships

Prescott Scholarships St. Mark's Newark

Scholarships are available for higher education to those within the Newark School District.  Scholarships can be for private colleges, vocational schools, training courses, etc.  Applications can be obtained at the church office.

CROP Walk

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local congregations or groups to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world.  A group from St. Mark's participates each year.

Family Promise

Family Promise at St. Mark's Newark

The mission of Family Promise is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.  St. Mark's is a support congregation assisting the Wayne County chapter of Family Promise.

Rise Against Hunger

Rise Against Hunger

Rise Against Hunger is an international relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world's most vulnerable.  Hundreds of volunteers gather at St. Mark's one weekend annually to prepare and package thousands of meals.
